Garmin Connect Data

When you choose to connect your Garmin Connect account to TIVRA Health, TIVRA may collect and process data made available through the Garmin Connect Developer Program and authorized by you. Depending on the Garmin permissions and APIs you authorize, this may include activity, exercise, training, wellness, physiological, sleep, heart-rate, heart-rate variability, and other health or fitness data made available through Garmin Connect.

TIVRA uses Garmin data solely to provide, operate, improve, and support TIVRA's longitudinal health intelligence services, including organizing authorized health and wellness information, generating longitudinal analytics and insights, supporting research and program activities where separately authorized, and enabling you to share information with designated healthcare, research, or program partners according to your permissions.

TIVRA does not sell Garmin data or use Garmin data for advertising.

Garmin data is transmitted to TIVRA through Garmin's authorized APIs and is processed and stored within TIVRA's secured technology environment. Access to Garmin data is restricted based on role and authorization and is subject to applicable security, privacy, retention, and audit controls.

TIVRA may use third-party technology and infrastructure providers to host, secure, transmit, analyze, or otherwise process Garmin data on TIVRA's behalf. Such providers are contractually required to protect information and process it only for authorized purposes.

TIVRA may also use third-party artificial intelligence or data-processing services only where such processing is authorized for the applicable TIVRA service or research purpose and subject to appropriate contractual, security, privacy, and data-use restrictions. TIVRA does not permit Garmin data to be used by third-party AI providers for their independent model training, advertising, sale, or unrelated commercial purposes.

TIVRA does not share Garmin data with third parties except as directed or authorized by the user, as necessary to provide the requested TIVRA service, with contracted service providers acting on TIVRA's behalf, or where required or permitted by applicable law.

You may disconnect your Garmin Connect account and withdraw authorization for future Garmin data collection through the applicable TIVRA or Garmin controls. Withdrawal of authorization does not necessarily require deletion of information that TIVRA is legally or contractually required to retain or that has already been incorporated into an authorized record or research dataset, subject to applicable law and TIVRA's data-retention practices.

Privacy Policy Changes Related to Garmin Data

Any future material changes to this section concerning the collection, use, processing, sharing, storage, retention, or disclosure of Garmin data will be submitted to the Garmin Connect Developer Program team for review and will not be implemented until written approval has been received from Garmin.
